The Revised Penal Code and its provisions are to be applied in the following manner:
1. Extraterritoriality
The Revised Penal Code is applicable even though outside the Philippine territory.
2. Exterritoriality
A term in International Law which signifies the immunity of certain persons, who, although in the state are no tamendable to its laws.
3. Intraterritoriality
The Revised Penal Code is made applicable within the Philippine territory.
